Sorry I'm lazy, n I have discussed this before- its deeply buried somewhere in this forum.

Btw, on topic:

I have seen a Vice documentary in the conflict before. It painted Azerbaijan as the ultimate victor due to 1 factor: Caspian sea oil.

Wait a min, I can't find it on vice, maybe its some other channel.

I remember the documentary showed the daily lives of soldiers living in bunkers n how they could see each other's positions(Azerbaijan = Armenian) right across hilltops.

It delved deep into the economic factor n Azerbaijan would win becos it has Caspian sea oil to fund its military

Again:

The problem is russian and iranian military and political support for armenia... Standalone Armenia vs AZ... Just lol... Yall know the outcome

Has Azerbaijan considered joining NATO?

Would be a stretch given the name.

They have no coastline with atlantic ocean or tributaries like mediterranean, black sea etc...

They likely will just retain status quo as IPAP partner for NATO....and maintain good relations with multiple power centres of relevance.

Armenia is really their only enemy.

yes, but Armenia is part of CSTO. Those odds aren't in Azeri favour

Azeris arent going to cut their relations with Russia and go all in with NATO....it will just attract more attention from Russia in the area....over and above what they already have. CSTO is just one part (for Armenia).

Russia has established precedent in punitive action regarding both Georgia and Ukraine for example and Azeris are well attuned to it.

There is also similar reason why Azeris also maintain close relations with Israel....it gives them lot of flexibility without having to commit to a full alliance structure.

This situation with Armenia will grind as status quo overall....I don't think it will be militarily resolved this late and this downstream.

The time for that was the early 90s....it has long passed.

Basic Facts about your fantasy and non-existing regional bloc:

Turkey is Nato and half-west and has no energy and murdered russian ambassador and supports pan-turkism and separation of parts of Russia and China and also worked many times against Russian interests in Syria and are totally on the opposite in Libya. They also give CIA agents/pan-turkist separatists refuge in Turkey.

Iran is Asia and non-nato and has energy and candidate for eurasian economic union (already made agreements with) and did not kill Russian ambassador and sees separatism and pan-turkism as cancer just like what China mentioned. Iran is neutral in Libya and not working against Russian interests in Libya. Iran has eternal peace with China since and before and after Tang Dynasty-Sassanid Dynasty era. The ties are cultural and historical.

China is not interested in pan-turkism/uygurism and Russia put Turkey in its place different times in Syria and told turkey you killed my ambassador, you're going to listen from now on.
I understand the beef which Iranians have with Turkey (Ottomans) due to a long history of wars between the two, which is visible in your posts and stand related to Turkey.

So, tell me @Shapur Zol Aktaf considering that Turkey and Pakistan stand with each other strategically, a fact which has been clearly demonstrated to the world and considering the fact that Turkey and Pakistan have mended their relationship with Russia and considering Pakistan-China CPEC and beyond Strategic partnership:.......

1) where do you see Iran in this bloc? (if at all you see iran in this bloc)

2) how will Iran manage it's relationship with Turkey in this block?

3) how will Iran manage it's relationship with Pakistan in this block?

4) if not in this bloc, then where do you see Iran standing (and with whom) during next 5 to 10 years? US-Israel-India-Japan-Australia bloc? or alone?

Other iranian members are also encouraged to respond to the above questions.

Turkish Armed Bayraktar UAVs and F16's at Turkish - armenian border, to give a massage.
Good news. Let's see where it goes from here.

message or massage? :azn:
Ah, a good old typo. Thanks for the correction. Though, when we done with them it might be rather rough for a ''massage'' 1914 style.

Where it goes?
-armenian soldiers fled from the warzone.

-an armenian colonel tries to run away from the warzone, armenian police arrested him to send him back.

They fired the first bullet, now it is time to pay.

Actually Paksitan supported Taliban to behead Iranian diplomats

Your diplomats were engaged in proxy warfare against them.

Afterwards, You gave detailed maps to the US of where their bases were.

when Iran wanted to do trade with Pakistan by building gas pipeline between Iran and Pakistan

That was an expensive deal signed by an outgoing government to build a legacy with one positive agreement, becauae otherwise Zardari looted the country.

Pakistan decided to listen to saudi terrorists and their US master.

How did we ever let KSA or US harm any Iranian interests? You are just being paranoid as usual.

We were very clear that we don't support your un-Islamic sectarian wars against each other.

(we had 8 years war against west and soviet union and europe backed saddam).

Pakistan helped you against Saddam, will you ignore it?

Hahahahahahaha thz I had a very good one.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I'm dying.

Hahahahahahahahahaha

PS* not meant to derail the thread, just stating I find this post extremely funny.

That's all.

Thanks.

He is right. Most empires which ruled Pakistan for the last 1,000 years were Turkic, and their descendants are Turkish. Pukhtoons and Punjabis have a high degree of Turkish mixing too.

Thanks for this post. Iranian membwrs can shed their thoughts on this post, it would gice some structure to this discussion.

Where do you guys see Iran with Turkey and Pakistan 5-10 years in the future?

I have created a new thread for discussion on Iran-Pakistan and Iran-Turkey relationship in the foreseeable future and put forward questions to our iranian members to respond to. Till now, most are refraining from expressing their views on these very important questions. Important for Pakistanis and Turkish members.
