There is a large Azad Kashmiri community in the UK. People from areas such as Kotli, Poonch, Muzafarabad often complain about the long drive from Islamabad airport. An airport at Mirpur therefore isn't maybe as crazy as it sounds. Doesn't have to be anything large, one terminal, one runway kind of thing.

I don't understand the objection to the airport some people have there should be one In azad Kashmir India has two in Indian occupied Kashmir has one in Srinagar and one jammu airport

The kashmiri diaspora is all over the world. It's economically viable and makes a lot of sense. However the politicians as always are incompetent. The people are made fools of continuously and I suppose let them get away with it.
