I am sure they will, although you aren't setting the bar very high; the grown ups have made a dogs dinner of the whole matter. Now two countries are fighting for the land, and the people are the last to come to mind. What was Burke's famous line? "He pities the plumage, and forgets the dying bird."

I sometimes think that people of the subcontinent are the most stupid. The British left this problem so that we may continue to kill each other and they continue to sell weapons to both sides. 70 plus years and we are still at it

Land and water have strategic value. If the people come it is just a bonus.

For the greater good of 1.3 Billion people we can very well let go of a few hundred thousand. Anyone who is willing to join us peacefully is most welcome. Else they can go to Pakistan or wherever they want.
