India is not on the path to be the third mation in the world. This is a dream of West to contain China. India is actually the 10th Nation in the World, so to be the World No 3 it should overcome Japan, Germany, France, UK, Italy etc in a lapse of 2 years. This is nonsense.

aussies want to integrate themselves into asia so they can benefit in economic benefits, but are in the american camp in just about every other way.

No it's not. I don't understand how you can stay away from a region you are in? That kind of logic it's self is stupidity. As i said, it would be like saying the U.S should stay out of North America.

Australia is part of the Asian region, so we can't stay out of it, if we are in it. We have been trading with Asian countries like China for the past 30 years and have been involved in Asian country conflicts for the past 40 years (Vietnam, Malayan emergency, East Timor)

Australia isnt part of asia , Australia is its own continent , but 1 country rules the continental main land(the country australia) , other countries on the continent are ,papua new guinea , and some pacific ocean nations. also part of indonesia.

Our region is Oceania , but due to the lack of countries in this region we also look at asia.

an example of this is the australian football team who play in the asian confederation.

New zealand is not part of the australian continent because it has its own tectonic plate and not attached to the mainland.
