Match just finished, England lost by 64 runs against Australia.

This is a very good news for Pakistan.
They have a better chance to qualify for the Semis.
The Door of the 4th qualification remains open. There are 4 contenders now for the 4th spot.
If
1- England 2- Pakistan 3- Bangladesh 4- Sri Lanka

Australia are through to the semi final gone on to 12 points needed.
If Pakistan loses against NZ, NZ would qualify to 13 points.
IF Pakistan wins, 1 step closer to qualify.
This is the hardest of 3 games left. Other two are against Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
Pakistan must win tomorrow.

Pakistan can only win if they dont think too ahead and play freely considering themselves already out from competition..they dont perform well in pressure do or die matches and Bangladesh is also playing good cricket so they are not easy opponents and afghan will also try hard to save themselves from embarrassment by beating Pakistan .. It would be like winning world cup for them to beat daal khors and Gul.khans

Which is why after today ENG loss Pakistan have golden opportunity to reach semi-final. Once you are there then who knows, it can be repeat of CT 2017 when we annihilated tournament favourites in semi and then trashed India in final.

Keep in mind one more thing NRR in case of tie.

Wins will be counted before run rate , as Pakistan beat England this will count as ahead of England if points are tied

Bangladesh is not minnow any more ..They won last few matches against Pakistan and has beaten some good team in this tournament as well but still Pakistan has more chance against them than beating NEW zeland who even won practice game against India and never got defeated though WI and South Africa gave them tough fights so no team is undefeatable...Pakistan need to bat first otherwise chances of win will become even more slim
