Aurat March: Pakistani women face violent threats ahead of rally

Shame on BBC, and more dubious people coming to join Aurat march.

Lets be clear, most ladies don't know what they are doing in these marches, they are innocent. It is the leaders like Marvi Sarmad who are functioning like proxies to destabilize Pakistan.

We cannot afford the economic weight of repeated marches, I hope feds stop the next Fazlu march too.

So, thats what its all about ultimately?

It is an anti-hijab, anti-pardah, abortion rights, bf/gf dating culture, free sex, LGBT movement to change Pakistan's Islamic cultural base.

You will never see a woman in niqab leading such marches but an ill-mannered Marvi Sarmad type vulgar women.

and religion

That didn’t take long did it?
I’m all for anyone marching hence why I don’t really participate in such threads. But if this is one of the ‘organisers’ then how the hell can this be a good thing?

Stupid statement. It harms the society, just like giving men freedom to do what they like with their strength.
Lol. Stupid. What is men going to do with strength? grow biceps? As long as one is not harming others physically, it is absolutely okay to be however they like. You have no right to stand in judgement w.r.t to their life choices or otherwise.

Why as long as there is no physical harm is it okay? By your logic it is fine to exploit vulnerable people as long as I am not doing phycial harm to them.

You know that it is exploting people, right? How is women choosing their life style exploting anyone? Please use some common sense.

Life choices of ?
Whatever they feel right. If they feel to be in sync with their religious affinity, that's okay too, or otherwise.

Do you have like 2000+ iq or something? we will get to that, first of all, it is not only physical harm which is bad as you suggested in your earlier post, do you agree?

Hello Mr/Mrs.
Free to take life choices ?
Don’t act like a kid if you aren’t already. Instructing and imposing life decisions is not gender based, rather parents do that to their “CHILDREN”, not “BOY” or “GIRL”. Elders have a life of experience unlike kids, they most probably know what better what is good or bad however that is not always the case...

The true loser in all of this aurat march and Khalil ur rehman type chauvinism are the rights of the millions of truly oppressed women in Pakistan.
Those in forced slavery in kilns or working the fields for feudal lords, those under religious persecution or raped by people under the guise of social and religious norms. Those killed due to these factors.

You and all those protesting or supporting the protest do not represent those truly oppressed in any form of manner of social, economic or religious aspects.

Just because some upper and upper middle class women want to wear whatever they want without their father’s or uncle’s commenting on their dress choices we have Aurat march.
Those opposing it are just chauvinist hypocrites who want to lick their lips at girls and women while espousing religion like their personal toilet paper

But the women who really deserve attention for their rights are nowhere to be found.

Why not you take up another march to support those oppressed women? Let this be about urban women asking their right to make their own life choices. what is wrong in asking for the same? Why should a man have a voice in telling what a woman should wear and behave?

Why should anyone make it anti-islam?

Which rights?

- abortion
- extramarital sex
- homosexuality
- drinking

You feminists are making our job a lot easier by exposing your true agenda.

@Desert Fox just skimmed through and found this. They've for the first time I guess, openly admitted what their true agenda is. Women rights was just a camouflage.

So, thats what its all about ultimately?

The Western preference is moving towards the far right spectrum. We all know how the far right views the family system. Things like abortion, homosexuality etc. are considered harmful for society at large.

Whilst the West is moving away from such illogical liberal norms they are trying to promote their failed filthy experiments in mostly Islamic and developing nations.

The people in the Eastern world weren't born yesterday. We understand what this Western agenda means. We are not going to become another sex resort for Western nations. Pakistan is not Bali, Philippines or Thailand.

These filthy women at aurat march are going to be put in their place. The majority totally opposes their norms and views. There is nothing to discuss or reason here.

Because the real issue of female oppression is beyond that of a march or raising a voice. It's systemic and deeply ingrained in Pakistani society, and the backers of this oppression sit at every point of the spectrum, be it secular or religious. The only fair solution is actually forcing reparations from the oppressors to the oppressed, and in Pakistan -- and South Asia as a whole -- the ones who want to do real good are without any power to do so. Hence, we're all here on this forum.

khalil deserves the credit of exposing this menace in front of the whole nation. now some of the media channels are playing sensibly. they invite some of these feminists and invoke them to bark out their ulterior motives . just watched a talk show on bol where at the end a middle sex type desi liberal openly supported homosexuality. shame on them.
khalil ur rahman has become hassan siddqui on ideological front . he has shot down an enemy's su 30 and now their real face is being exposed infront of the whole nation. we need more men like hassan siddiqui and khalil ur rahman to defend this country in all fronts . as this is a fifth gen warfare so we need good warriors at every front.
