The US has finally written of India, it does not believe India can deliver anything but surrender hence they created a real defense partnership with Australia.

what will India do now? What if the China with its iron brother Pakistan decide to take Kashmir, south Tibet, ? Punjab , Ladakh , Gujarat and Maharashtra . Will the QUAD and the US come to India’s aid? Or will there be smaller bite sized countries in south Asia as there always have been.

The fact that all the advanced goodies are for Australia, nuclear subs, ships, f-35 , tomahawks etc. Australia is expected to fight China if it comes to it. The Indians on the other hand are a dumping ground for the west”s old generation tech ( F-16s, f-15 , f-18 etc. ) none of the really cool stuff except for naval surveillance. BECA gives US access to Indian surveillance data in the Indian Ocean this seems to be the only area US is interested in when it comes to India.

this seems to put India in a huge bind, on one side it has China and Pakistan to contend with on the other side it has an ally in the US that is known to leave its allies, Vietnam, Ukrainian, Georgia, Afghanistan , now France the list continues.
The question really is why does India not solve its border disputes with Pakistan , conduct a free and fare plebiscite in Kashmir, resolve its border disputes and be part of the growth in Asia propelling our people out of poverty.

Yes but all the QUAD countries know which is the real partnership and what is for show. In the 60s ceto and cento were toothless nato was real. Pakistan learnt from this and in the 80s fought the Russians and got real goodies from the US . A fleet of American ships, French submarines , NATO Atlantic’s, F-16 , COBRAS and we’re offered the Abrams.

There is a marked difference on the equipment given to countries America wants to fight with and those America is flirting with. One thing to note here is Pakistan got all these things for free! Yes American tax payers paid for Pakistan to defeat the USSR and contain Indian!

Aukus is aiming to fortify the possible rivals of China in the form of Aussie, UK and US are in the pursuit of capitalizing on every opportunity to make money. Where is NPT now, these nations are frantically biased against others while violating every rule themselves?

It's a major blowback since India is not letting Russian weaponry go such as S-400 .... and of course the reputation of the Indian military is also the reason.
If India wants to be a friend of the USA then it must do "yes boss" to every US demand.

NPT is dead.... does anyone buy that Australian subs wont be nuclear armed..... off course they would be. They would be designed and positioned to take out chinese east coast.

Absolutely no doubt next step would be perhaps for Australia to look for carrier battle groups.

This will change chinese calculus as this will be a major headache for them.

Not just the subs, by the transfer and operation of enrichment technology, while being a signatory of the NPT is what has gotten Iran into all this trouble for the past 2-3 decades.
