nah man its only a tiering system to alliances.

tier 1: white countries, US,UK,Australia, AUKUS, where top technologies are shared.

tier 2 :inferior nations, india,japan, countries at the frontline, being slaves, their populations are expendable. incorporated at a low level QUAD, no technology sharing.

If I am India than I should not mind this at all. Its good for India that US has chosen Australia as their main defense partner against China than them since it would had turned indian China relations more and more sour. We than could had noticed Ladakh type clashes more as well. Also this would had forced China to equipped Pakistan with more advanced weapons which obviously would had been much more deadly for India since India is more likely to get into a war with Pakistan than China.

I won't say Quad is dead. But thing is India also faces Pakistan. And past few years have made world realize that no matter how much India claims they consider their main threat to be China they would always be too focused on Pakistan. So they can't be that much of use against China.

Asian nations better take care of their own national interest by engaging in friendly cooperation instead of participating in these unproductive confrontation and devisive alliance that will have long term implications for the future.

Probably also the end of the NPT, Australia as a signatory to the NPT is getting nuclear enrichment technology from the British to be used in these submarines as reported by France24 News. Isn’t that a violation of the NPT’s rules against proliferation?

The world is going back to the era of the Great Powers in the pre-WW1 period! There, alliances are formed and broken like the affairs in the Emmy award winning soap operas!!! An interesting time to live in….

The fact that all the advanced goodies are for Australia, nuclear subs, ships, f-35 , tomahawks etc. Australia is expected to fight China if it comes to it. The Indians on the other hand are a dumping ground for the west”s old generation tech ( F-16s, f-15 , f-18 etc. ) none of the really cool stuff except for naval surveillance. BECA gives US access to Indian surveillance data in the Indian Ocean this seems to be the only area US is interested in when it comes to India.

this seems to put India in a huge bind, on one side it has China and Pakistan to contend with on the other side it has an ally in the US that is known to leave its allies, Vietnam, Ukrainian, Georgia, Afghanistan , now France the list continues.
The question really is why does India not solve its border disputes with Pakistan , conduct a free and fare plebiscite in Kashmir, resolve its border disputes and be part of the growth in Asia propelling our people out of poverty.

Add to that unhindered terrorism via proxy terrorists like TTP, BLA, ISIS etc.!! To an outsider these are the symptoms of a maniac and psychotic people at a mass scale!!
