Just wanted to say that don't mix the religious issue under constitution WITH calling for Minorities rights. Seems like there is a confusion. Debate went on in view of one being Muslim or not and human right call is different than what it is.

You might want to read or know about how Government Machinery works in-case of public back-lash or hype or even anger due to religious issues. There are ways to cool down situation and such is not surrender rather tackling the matter in diplomatic way to minimize collateral damage or to avoid in public misconception as well as unrest. When you are a bureaucrat especially; there is nothing called surrendering to the mobs rather, it is about handling situation for today. We do have a lot of issues to handle and one can't be the reason to ignite such unwanted fire within society.

Iam yet to witness a minority genocide/state persecution at the scale of what happening around the globe. AFAIK no non Muslim country in the world has reserved qoutas for their 2.5% citizens on the bais of their religion. And don't come up with merit this and that, Pakistan is a Muslim country and done by far the most for her minorities whatever way you look at it from. you forget how they made Imran khan to applogize for not doing anything but were happy to forgive junaid jamshaid on accused blashphamey cases, and now IK is accused of blashphamey by these mullahs every week(Yesterday saw accusation of blashphemy poster by some mufti usmani bla bla). What I meant is sugar coating. They are sugar coating it. You want better educational facilities. Hell I want that. In three to four months I will be running throughout the country to get admission into a uni. I too want better education. And I will also go on streets for that.

But what about their other demands. These idiots are talking about going head to head against establishment. Is this their age to indulge into such activities.
