I don't think there was a better time for Pakistan to war against India in the last 20 years than today when the entire Kashmir is boiling against India and will most likely help a lot of Pakistanis if the war was enforced. Recently met a lot of Kashmiris and it was interesting to know their point of view... I am not saying they all support Pakistan but most of them are anti-India

But war is the worst thing which can happen to this subcontinent. I have always been supporter of friendship with India simply because there is no end to our neighbourhood and it is upon us whether we kill millions in the largest war in our history or try to fix our issues by dialougues

NSC strongly rejects Indian claim of targeting terrorist camp near Balakot

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday convened a special meeting of the National Security Committee to review the emerging situation in the wake of the Indian Air Force's (IAF) violation of the Line of Control.

The committee, according to a statement issued after the meeting, "strongly rejected Indian claim of targeting an alleged terrorist camp near Balakot as well as the claim of heavy casualties".

"Once again Indian government has resorted to a self-serving, reckless and fictitious claim," the statement said. "This action has been done for domestic consumption being in election environment, putting regional peace and stability at grave risk.

"The claimed area of strike is open for the world to see the facts on ground. For this domestic and international media is being taken to the impact site. Forum concluded that India has committed uncalled for aggression to which Pakistan shall respond at the time and place of its choosing."

The meeting was attended by ministers of foreign affairs, defence, finance, chairman joint chiefs of staff committee, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, CNS, aand other civil & military officials.
