Today, at Pak-Afghan border, a group of #Afghan based Gorkhas/Uzbeks/TTP launched a joint attack on #PakistanArmy posts from two sides. Attack was repulsed, many attackers were killed & One was caught alive in battle as POW.

Now to your question about PAF. PAF cannot target is such close proximity with friendly forces. Secondly PAF cannot violate Afghan Air space. The border is being manned but there are certain areas where the terrain is not help full and provides cover like slopes and ridges. The proper border manning will be effective in the end of this year when we will have most of the area under fence. Now if you look at Chaman border it is an area of 600 km where there is not a single Afghan military post.

Afghanistan is hardly a country who's sovereignty we need to respect. Besides lets not forget that attacks are originating from that area. We are well within our rights to respond and take preemptive measures to avoid collateral on our side.

I am not suggesting we enter Afghanistan and stay there, i talking about those strikes if need arises and we can prevent them from attacking us. More like a proactive approach rather than a reactionary action.

Kunar and Nuristan need to be bombed with depeleted uranium shells and ISI need to get their men into Uzbek Afghan border and sabotage TTP recruitment.

ISI need to step up their game, not doing enough.
