Bss, Dhaka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday said Bangladesh cannot forget and forgive atrocities committed by Pakistan in 1971, according to a press release of the Press Wing of the Prime Minister's Office.
"Incidents of 1971 cannot be forgotten or forgiven," she said while Pakistan High Commissioner in Dhaka Imran Ahmed Siddiqui called on her at the Gono Bhaban.
Referring to the volumes of the book titled "Secret Documents of Intelligence Branch on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman", Hasina said all can learn many historical facts from 1948 to 1971 from the books.
Noting that the book "Unfinished Memoirs" (Urdu version) written by Bangabandhu is one of the best sellers in Pakistan, she said it is also well read in Pakistan apart from other countries.
The PM extended greetings to her Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan when the envoy conveyed the premier's good wishes to her.

The high commissioner said the Pakistani PM advised them to learn about the development miracle of Bangladesh.
Mentioning that different bilateral and regional forums have remained inactive, he sought help from Hasina to activate foreign office consultations between the two countries.
The PM said there was no bar to continuing activities regularly.
Imran Ahmed said Pakistan wants to boost relations with Bangladesh without any obstruction.
Referring to Bangladesh's foreign policy "Friendship to all, malice to none", the PM said she believes in regional cooperation.
The Pakistan envoy lauded Hasina for her statesmanship in the global arena.
The PM welcomed the high commissioner and assured him of all cooperation.
PM's Principal Secretary Ahmad Kaikaus and Military Secretary Maj Gen Naqib Ahmed Chowdhury were present.

. . .
Bangladesh should send him back , call back their envoy and cut off diplomatic relations.. whats she waiting for...
She never said that BD never wants relations with Pakistan, she only said that whatever had happened in 1970-71 can’t be forgotten and its a fact none can deny. By that logic British did a lot of atrocities on India and the subcontinent but here we are today, last year Indian Government asked Britain to apologise on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre on its 100th anniversary and also British PM is going to be the chief guest in next year’s Republic Day Parade in New Delhi. So it has nothing negative for Pakistan its just that “we are friends but we remember what had happened to us” type of scene common everywhere in the world.

Honestly nobody cares, as I said before as well.
Its time to move on, as Muslims, we need to do what our Prophet (PBUH) wanted us to show, brotherhood especially when there are so many enemies to Islam.

. .
I hope we have sane posts and exchanges of opinion on this thread, if they need to happen.

One has to question however why an Indian person is so interested in this topic when Bangladeshis are not...
Same thought. Nowadays, if you open Pakistani twitter or any other social media page, Indian IT cell members are all over the place. They are so obsessed with Pakistan that it blows me away.

Anyways, I believe its time to move on and be brothers just like our Prophet (PBUH) wanted. Islam faces many enemies today, and Islamophobia is at it highest. Despite our differences, we 2 Muslim nations can do a lot in helping each other out and Muslims struggling around the world and I believe this can be done.

Race might divide us, thousands of kilometers of Indian territory might divide us, but Islam will keep us united.

good for her and as always any newj is victory for yindoo land!

GANGUS are very good to perform 'B Jamalo' role. Very much seemed to be part of lies and deceits which is built-in them.
They 'isolated' Pakistan so much that now they need to create further illusions.
BD and Pakistan to decide the way forward in their relation, Gangus should not feel or take any pain.

Indians are idiots asking the present day uk govt. to apologise for something done during the monarchs era.. lol
Indians should also ask Pakistanis/Afghan to apologize for what Ghaznavi, Abdali and Babur did with them..lol

no its not common
it only happens in the land of India and Bangladesh.. progressive nations are never stuck in past.

1st confirm your identity, pls?

Are you afghani, Irani, Uzbekistani or pakistani?

As I am aware that Ghaznavi ( Afghanistan) , Abdali ( Afghanistan) and Babur (Uzbekistan) had occupied to British India (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).

Pakistan born in 1947?

So confused people are you!

You can call all these people khorasani, does it matter? we were a launchpad for them.. Their capitals. were here, Abdali was even born and raised in Multan Pakistan, married and lived there.

you didnt read history properly. Lahore was ghaznavid capital and its locals were in the army that raided you.Our Culture food, dress ,music is Mughlai something you often conveniently label as 'indian culture' which its not because you want to think it was always here before the raids

Pakistan born in 1947?
India was also born in 1947
