An analysis of the result.

Punjab: it seems Akali's have won, people where considering it to be close election between them and congress .
Never has an incumbent govt comeback to power in Punjab.
Conclusion:Congress debacle can be contributed to general incompetence of UPA in the centre .

Uttar Pradesh:It seems that SP is winning with a comfortable majority they will form the next govt.
Conclusion: Strong anti incumbency factor against Mayawati(what's with lady inaugurating her own statue). The voters had large anti incumbency factor and they voted for next big party SP.
Though it's sad UP doesn't have a Nitish Kumar, SP wasn't really popular last time they where elected .

Goa : BJP clear victory
Conclusion:Anti incumbency factor in state as well that of UPA in the center

Manipur:Here i was surprise that people voted for congress since what with controversy of Naga's blockading the highway for month's the people should not have voted for congress. Probably since there are no alternate parties.

Uttharkhand: BJP Congress are neck in neck though i prefer BJP comes to power.
