same logic can be applied to lot of stuff which is taught at "schools" arnd the world,,for example everyone studies trigonometry but is it really necessary,,kids r made to learn rhymes,,r they necessary,,some kids even made to learn religion,,is it necessary,,,umm no but thn they learn it,,dont they

Yes dude Trigonometry has applications in real science world(Astronomy etc). Rhymes have their own benefits. Giving someone a choice to learn is different than forcing it on them. Most will agree with the above choices, same can't be said about Sanskrit.

So issue is religion not language ? Does islam prohibits learning new languages ? Sanskrit is an awesome language that too a scoring subject every kid Hindu Muslim Christian Sikh would like getting easy marks.

You think they would be learning the original Sanskrit language? Sanskrit was an awesome language developed by the early Aryans. Its sister language was Avestan. Sanskrit got polluted through shift due to its adoption by native Dravidian populations. The language of the Indo Aryans got polluted while the language of the Iranic Aryans developed and flourished in unadulterated form.

We are proud of the our ancestors' heritage but we would rather learn pure Aryan language like Avestan than modern Sanskrit which doesn't even come close to it. Even my rear friction makes better noise than the latter.

n btw,,u or me(including the most,u were referng to) agreeing or disagreeing dont really matter,,coz relevant ppl whose opinion really matters have already made thr decision n hence students will learn sanskrit till class 8 in my state,,n thts tht.
