Please note that SSG is a gigantic organisation for a SOF unit. Its huge and it has over the past 5 decades built up an elaborate mechanism of training for its SOF operatives. SSGs are trained in real environment, in cities, towns, jungles, rivers and so on. Their training facilities are not limited to brick buildings at Cherat.

Office of PM no longer has a dedicated armed unit. Its security is also provided by SSG operatives qualified in PERSEC loaned out to ISI.
