It is high time PTI is declared as an anti-Pakistani terror organization.

This is nothing but brazen treason against the state.

The last time the establishment went down the road of declaring the majority of Pakistanis who refused to fall in line with the colonial authoritarianism of the Military junta as "anti-Pakistan traitors" was in 1971. We all know how it ended for us. Be careful with what you wish for.

The PTI's Gilgit Baltistan govt. of CM Khalid Khursheed was removed by the political engineering, by the neutral duffers.

And that resulted in huge backlash. GB is a sensitive area and duffers shouldn't have done this.

After massive protests sparked in Gilgit-Baltistan over an FIR against a Shia cleric, people demanded opening up the border with Ladakh.​

On January 17, 2023, Pakistan’s national assembly unanimously voted to expand the country’s law on blasphemy, which carries the death penalty for insulting Prophet Muhammad. Human Rights activists are concerned that the expanded laws will be used to target minorities, particularly Shia Muslims, who are critical of many early Muslims.

Pakistan registered an FIR against a Shia cleric, who is accused of insulting Prophet Muhammad. Soon after, massive protests broke out in Gilgit-Baltistan. Demonstrators want the blasphemy laws to be taken back. They have threatened the government of Pakistan. This is not the first time widespread protests have been staged in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. In January 2023, locals and traders protested in the region in Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) against heavy taxation laws, illegal land occupation, and load shedding imposed by the regime in the province.

Gilgit Baltistan is a Shia-majority region, which falls under Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) region and has been a victim of the divide-and-rule policy of the Pakistani establishment.

At the end of the day, the fault lies with the Fauj for rigging and manipulating governments and elections going back to Ayub Khan and never allowing democracy and institutions to mature.

Without even getting into the context, PTI fanboys are at it again. This is a sectarian issue in GB. There were massive protests in Chillas to file blasphemy case against this shia cleric, and when it happened, people in shia dominated area are showing their anger.

All of this happened because Parliament recently passed an act which widens the scope of blasphemy law.

PTI and it’s fans embody hypocrisy and lies, just like other political parties of Pakistan and their fans.

Bajwa was best for PTI when IK was in power. Total lunacy.

But where we do agree is that the Fauj violated the constitution and committed treason for/against Imran Khan (as it has going back in almost every election going back to Ayub Khan, at least) and the demand is that the Fauj stop committing treason and destroying the country, stop this facist crackdown against the PTI and any other dissenters and critics, and allow free and fair elections and respect civilian supremacy and oversight, regardless of who ends up being elected.

I would respectfully suggest that we stop even bothering to correct Faujeets and PDM supporters on this.

Its just an attempt to distract and get everyone bogged down arguing over the nitry gritty of the PTI government, when in actuality what these allegations (whether the Fauj helped or hindered the PTI) clearly acknowledge is that the Fauj violated the constitution and committed treason in the 2018 elections.

The Fauj’s own propaganda against Imran Khan is an acceptance of complicity in treason, and what we want now is for the Fauj to stop rigging elections and stop meddling iand manipulating domestic political dynamics and stick to following civilian oversight and orders.

This argument cannot be reconciled with the fact that the overwhelming majority of Pakistanis, who deeply cherished and respected the Army, turned against them when they ousted an unpopular(?) leader they themselves had handpicked.

Unless, of course, you're implying that Imran Khan gained popularity only after becoming the PM. But if that were the case, wouldn't it be an even greater crime by the military junta to remove a competent government that was effectively winning public support? No matter how much effort you put into it, your stance doesn't hold up logically.

IK is still popular and the public is behind him, is he PM ?

It’s a fact that IK was brought into power through rigging. Why would Army slip ? They have no reason to do so. The rigging was done at polling station and even after that, in fact ISI had been trying to bring him into power since some time during NS tenure.

You can’t have it both ways to soothe your mind through a political narrative. Army brought IK into power, period.
