Ahahahahah.. .Koreans are very patriotic. I red recently in Guardian(t think, can't remember which media ) that during south Korea women's ssemi final football match against north Korea in this Asian game , Koreans from both north and south were cheering/supporting each other teams, which was indeed strange and they were even calling for unification (which came as a shock to me).
Kudos to the Koreans. I like that.

I feel shamed by some Chinese posts in here. I dont know why they look like megalomaniac. it doesnt mean my country is a strong sporting nation, even we have top 1 gold medals. I hope the Gov. will pay close attention to the people's physique, not the medal. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this gaming, proud of all the players in there.

You are correct my friend, I have come to realised this as well. If only the north had not gone communist, refused to open up/reform at least and isolate itself further , then I'm sure they will be as advancef if not more advanced than south Korea,. Just look at how despite all the isolation /sanctions they managed to launch a satellite Sven before south Korea, despite Seoul receiving lots of help/tech transfer from Russia /west.

At least they could follow their patron China and Russia example of opening /reforming while keeping a strong central government /policy. Or even learn from Vietnam who followed China example and opened up but maintains the comnunist party grip on power.
Anyway good to see koreans still being patriotic despite all their decades of divisions after the second world war.

Nothing wrong with patriotism and it is good to get your flag raised and national anthem chanted. You should be happy that China is not India.
