Those are wholesale sales. Dealers had built up inventories and are now purchasing less. Retail sales have fallen by 1 to 2%. Worrying but not too bad. YoY sales are expected to grow slightly. Interest and inflation in India is far less than in Pakistan.

Pakistan has no other source of earning $ besides labor in middleast.
I wonder how can Imran Khan bring down inflation to the level of his predecessors, while his ministers are hell bent to close that last door of forex earnings!

As i know, investors who pledged investments are running away, while contractors whose contracts are canceled by IK regime may very well sue Pakistan at international court of arbitration, unless some strategic interests keep them away for sueing Pakistan's institutions lead by idiot ministers.

Current cabinet is nothing but bunch of donkeys, lead by a liar, backedup by bloody opportunists.

Only possibility of bringing down inflation is to tax the buses carrying $ to Iran...

Asad umar wanted to keep infaltion around 9 for 3-4 years and stretch this change
while imran khan and most other wanted to quick reforms to get on with it..

both have their own merits..

fact is that first year of PTI was also a historic high state bank lending due to govt non seriousness on taxation and difficult decisions result, rupee became more weaker, a stricter reform package during first year(and consequentially less state bank lending) would have resulted in slower growth but more stable rupee..

i would say first year of PTI was a failure to do massive revenue reforms because govt refused to levy any taxation, hence inflation was lower than 2013 even though the crisis was 10x bigger

only way out of this is massive investment but where will that investment come from?
we need local revenue mobilization , we cant simply do with foreign loans

He should have been charged with some international money laundering act and if there was any act against hypocrisy, this grave worshiper had been in for maximum term.

Yesterday i met a friend, who work in middleast.... he sent his daughter for further studies back home and started sending money to his mother in law's account, for paying the bills.... the mother in law was approached and harassed by the staff of Shabbar Zaidi.
Since this women also have her own sons abroad, who also sends her money.... this women suddenly was in big trouble and had to pay taxes on the remittances she recieved from her sons and son in law....
Eventually my friend and her sons switched to transfer of money via hundi and hand carry, where in-laws of Imran Khan are ring leaders of money exchange black market.
Now imagine the millions of $ being earned by the inlaws of Imran Khan on daily basis, all of it by harassing the family members of expats. working in middle east.
People of Pakistan need to rise up against this technical corruption and money laundering, engineered by the ministers of Imran Khan.

I am not asking about you as in you. I meant the phenomenon of cryptocurrency users and how Zakaat is calculated on it and how it can be regulated by Governments.
