Well, his version is that he's a Sanamahi. But you know what, his ancestral religion wouldn't have been alive today if his state's rulers were to have adopted any religion other than Hinduism. One look at the Nagas, Mizos, Khasis/Garos would tell you how Xtianity obliterated the traditions and customs of their ancestral animistic beliefs.

Nope, the chinese are distinctly different from pretty much everybody in the world who live in an open system.

Have you every come across any chinese in pdf who's views are different from that of their govt ?

Now compare that with the views of any Indian, pakistanis, American, or african. Most of whom have a wide array of thoughts.

I am sure there are genuine free thinkers in china, but I am yet to come across one.

I have had the privilege to have a few dozen Chinese friends and classmates, mostly from well to do families who graduated from some of the best universities. The Chinese never opened themselves or shared their views freely even among themselves. There is a lot of emotional suppression (which often leads to heavy Baiju drinking) and a lot of commonly believed wrong ideas about the world and Chinese history. Politics is completely taboo. Nobody ever talks about anything even closely critical of the government hinting that they might be "Invited for a drink of tea, and be forced into a reducation camp" just like the Uighurs. Chinese propaganda wants to portray the Han as the master civilization in this world whereas everything else is just to serve the Han. They have no real values other than materialistic success through any means and complete obedience to the employer as well as the CCP government.

Only places in NE where ancestral beliefs are still flourishing are where the population follow Hinduism. Be it in Assam amongst us Ahoms, Kacharis, Dimasas, Bodos etc, or in states like Manipur or Tripura. Goes to show how much the Xtian missionaries have brainwashed the gullible folks. And then these ingrates would badmouth our own culture and way of life. He may very well be a Xtian, Manipur is full of such illegals from neighbouring Myanmar.

They are indeed excellent employees. They work 18 hour work shifts without holidays, and are obliged to answer their phone and help their younger colleagues during their time off work. The younger colleagues work even harder than the ones I know. There is no work/life balance. Its just work, get rich one day and then spend it to show off your wealth mostly by flashy cars and exotic food.
