Not true, there are plenty of attractive Indians out there, although the film industry concentrates on the most Northern Indians. Even the South Indian film industry uses actresses of Punjabi decent. They need to be more representative.

In ours case ,precisely in my state ,attraction is not a big deal .We only cares about the work of the actor/actress.
Our superstars and megastars are own ethnic keralites not Punjabis.
But those who cant perform in our industry is actually flourshing in other South Indian and even in Bollywood

Just when we thought that Pakistan’s most popular tea vendor Arshad Khan's five minutes of fame were over, news comes in that he is making his foray into runway modeling tonight.

According to the PR managers of the ongoing Bridal Couture Week in Lahore, Arshad Khan is walking as showstopper for Ziggi Menswear, a UK-based menswear brand that specialises in making groomswear for “the modern Majaraja”.

Who knows where he could go from here?

Arshad Khan was spotted looking quite gentlemanly in a cobalt blue suit at Faletti's Hotel, where Bridal Couture Week is being held. Wonder if he'll swap for the suit for a Ziggi sherwani?


Arshad Khan was discovered at Sunday Bazaar chai stall while going about his usual business of making tea. Photographer Jiah Ali took his picture during a weekend photo walk and uploaded it on social media, not knowing the photograph was soon to go viral.

Apart from instantly gaining legions of female fans, Arshad Khan also got a modeling contractwith retail site fitin.pk and even strutted his stuff at a makeshift runway on a morning show soon after.

Looks like he's already got some practice for his formal runway debut tonight!

Even though I understand he is climbing the ladder provided to him and will probably settle in the showbiz however this whole affair seems rotten as far as our society and direction it is going to. I fear the times when hard working men will be frowned upon and glittery stardom and showbiz men will be envy of a young boy. Similiar to what Malcolm X thought about the hop hop culture where young black men were inspired by guns, hip hop and crime rather than being hard working men or professionals who made an important part of society.
