In the UK, this may be the case, however it is not like this in the US.

We have a deep problem of self-deprecating Pakistanis and those who refuse to learn Urdu/Punjabi/Pukhto in the new generation. Muslims in general have this issue, but our youth are especially susceptible to have inferiority complexes in relation to aggressive Muslim Brotherhood Arabs and their political brainwashing.

In their minds, Pakistan is just some dusty place which smells bad, where people bow to shrines, and it is a liability to be associated with it.

I am probably one of the few that is not like this. I learned early on how to read/write Urdu and my parents never let me speak English in my home. Then also growing up in Pakistan in my youth also helped me develop deep roots.

Many American Pakistanis do not have connections back home.

Pakistanis in the UK are more Pakistani than the people in Pakistan.......and we are proud of it.....

Every place I go, people expect me to teach them Urdu/Punjabi in 30 minutes. Tell me about their dead parents who used to go to Pakistan. I have to clear up so many misconceptions they have about us.

I have developed a very open and non judgemental view of my fellow Pakistanis. Like sometimes you see a Pakistani girl married to a Non-Muslim, and most Pakistanis would get angry, but I give them a break. Sometimes wearing questionable clothes, keeping questionable company, and living un-Islamic lifestyles. I understand that they don't know our values and culture. It is quite sad, but all we can do is make dua for them and move on.

You meet atheist and agnostic Pakistani youth, and what seem to be exiles from Pakistan of ANP, MQM, and other groups. Shia radicals who condemn all Pakistanis. Ahle Hadees who declare takfir on all Pakistanis for worshipping at shrines.

American Pakistanis are a toxic mix of the worst Pakistan has to offer. It seems like all rejects come here.

Many Pakistanis left the US in 2001, and it hurt our community deeply. In NYC we had many famous areas like Jackson Heights, Chicago had Devon street, but since then Indians and BDs have taken over.

Most Pakistanis moved to suburbs or other cities like Atlanta, Houston, SE, Midwest, or other NE states.

It will get better. Just concentrate on future generations. Some people are just lost, and lost they will remain unless something big happens in their lives. Numbers was also a thing you guys didn't have, we have, which helps a great deal.

It's a bit of a long story so I will try to be brief.

Since about 2005, for some reason English people have become reluctant to work hard, study and be productive. An ever increasing number of white women are also breeding black african offspring. The white birthrate is going down too. The number of non-Whites is increasing. Whites have gone down from being around 90% of the population in 2005 to around 79% of the population today. White people are aware of this fact. It is politically okay to be racist towards and criticize Pakistanis and Muslims. In fact the term "Muslims" in the UK is synonymous and interchangeable with Pakistan and Pakistanis in the UK. Muslims is not used to describe Arabs, Turks, Iranians, indian Muslims or bengali Muslims. It usually refers to Pakistanis only. To lament their woes, white racists publicly display racism towards Muslims (Pakistanis) as they will get away with it but these racists really hate anyone who isn't white. This was seen during the attacks on Far Eastern students when Covid-19 broke out. A lot of these racists have been beaten up severely by Pakistani youngsters and put in hospital. They are always complaining about this online.......

That was a very bad time. I read experiences of Pakistanis who either left voluntarily or were forced out. This was on reddit.

Situation was very bad in NY area. How is it now ? Are we getting the numbers back ?

On other note , I like your non-judgemental attitude. I have seen muslim women married to non-muslim guys and I just move on without saying anything and pray that they would see the light. I can't do more than that.
