Most of the time I've seen pictures of army regular troops in hot areas wearing black LBVs. Which only have a single stack of magazines.
Like shown on this link: https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/category/molle-and-tactical-gear/molle-load-bearing-equipment.do
But I've also seen international troops in Afg carrying LBVs with double stack of magazines with a few pistol mags as well. Like this one.
Moreover, I was thinking that we could also integrate a camel pack into the LBVs. And also it might be better for morale of troops and their overall effectiveness if we allow them to configure their LBV the way they want.
I don't know if PA would favor giving autonomy or standardizing???
Also we should also have a few designated medics with every unit/detachment in theater. And give them their version of LBVs/Backpack.
Lastly for designated squad support guys withchandheld machine gun(I dnt know if PA has those) could carry a pack akin to this beltfed system:
(This backpack was recently developed by US army's R&D division)
