OFB also has confirmed orders for 200 Guns of 155mm/45 Calibre , These are an improvement over the Bofors Design and are to be delivered by 2017

DRDO is developing a 155mm/52 Calibre Howitzer With a confirmed order for 140 Guns to Be delivered by 2017 With option for another 400 Guns should army be satisfied

Army will also get 145 M777 ULH with deal to be signed in this Fiscal yr

Infact The reason for this three way induction is to Double our stockpile of 155mm Howitzers from 480 at present to over 1000 in the next 5 yrs

If you think your country is even worth invading, you have delusions of granduer.

The reason that you don't have a military worth the name (a navy weaker than our coast guard, an army that is no match for our border guarding policemen, an air force whose frontline combat aircraft are ancient trainers) is because your leaders and your people are confident that nobody would want to invade your country. There is one reason even british thought bd doesn't need to be defended. Pakistan also used same thought.
THe thought is that BD has nothing to defend except Dhaka.
