This is what is wrong with this line of thinkng. Instead of bringing government schools up to par, the government and establishment are taking out the anger of their own failures on the Medressah system. Provide government controlled easily accessible education to the masses and most people will send their children, thus implicitly solving the problem. Telling Madressahs what to do is acting on foreign diktat and an attempt by materialistic elites to control religious thought and discourse. This is completely wrong.

Madrassa in pakistan are not only islamic school but they are home to many children with no family.Many poor people send their children to madrassa just because they would get fed and sleep under a shelter.This madrassa problem is complex

I 100% agree with general bajwa even he is a qaidiani.He is talking rationally which makes sense.
In my opinion madrassas should be completely banned not just closed.Just like the existence of a molvi has no purpose to society like he just know how to rote learn Quran,spread hate on loud speakers,eats tons of halwa from the money he received in donation and molest little kids.These madrassa kids are next generation of molvis who serve no purpose to humanity and society.What are their skills which contribute to our economy? Living a sheltered life in madrassa does not translate to success because they live in their own world.

what a hard sin...people give birth and later dump in madrassah ... according to one tv commentator ...atleast kid will get " do waqat ki roti " ...

I don't. Is there a good reason that Imran Khan spent how many million on funding for Madrasas?
Money better spent on schools where all subjects are taught alongside religion education. Children will be more civilized.

if you do not understand the issue stop commenting on it and first make an informed opinion in your head first before it reaches your tongue.

This is not the issue for the army but for the civil administration. The COAS simply bemoaned the lack of will and motivation showed by the political elite which do not see this issue as the money maker.

I understand the issue to the best of my understanding. I just tried to summarise one among many course of actions that can be taken to streamline the madrassa education .
I would have given many other opinions but one does not write a book over here in the comment section.

Madrasas are dangerous. The students that enroll into them not only get brainwashed but their parents and future generations do as well.
The amount that Imran Khan gave to Madrasas this year was probably the most stupidest thing he as done in his political career. That amount of money could have created several state of the art schools, which could house 3,000 students each. I'm guessing at least 7 schools could be created.
