What's new

Armenian official: "Israel expects to go the way of Germany"

40% collapsed

Turkey still receives 60 million tourists every year, european countries on their own are small and weak countries.

What is italy on it's own, it is just a weak country as is same with the rest of the european countries.

You even begged to nato and eu to save your arse out of fear from india with the killed fishermen event.

I can't believe you guys trying to tame this self-absorbed waste of oxygen egomaniac :D

Did I just talked loud? Oh sorry your grace, first of his name, king of the all mankind, @MarkusS the great :D

come back when you overtake romania in gdp. Turkey is poor. Even in istanbul full of beggers...

Italy? is a G7 nation with an economy 5 times your size. You even get food aid amigo...food aid.

Germany and France and UK are small and weak on their own? :D Eat less kebab amigo. It causes micro strokes.

As for tourism collapse:
I was wrong. Its not 40% but 70% downfall:

"
The country is heading into a perfect storm, but the winds have already started blowing, with hotels reporting bookings down as much as 70 per cent.

While the collapse in visitor numbers is especially acute in Antalya and other resorts popular with Russians, other areas are also expected to suffer. UK holidaymakers, traditionally Turkey’s third biggest market with more than 2.5 million annual visitors, are beginning to dry up, with Turkey specialists Anatolian Sky reporting bookings for January, the biggest month for sales, down by half. A top UK escorted tour operator even conceded that it didn’t confirm a single passenger for Turkey during January. "

To my knowledge, the Ottoman Empire was not a democracy.
Like every other issue, they had to abide by the decisions of the government.
The people of Europe have not been consulted on the current refugee crisis.
Are the refugees coming from Syria illegal, and can be killed if they interfere? Think not...

The Ottomans did not give away Palestine, the British (who gave the Balfour declaration) defeated them and then the LON (conveniently) awarded Britain the mandate; being a prince among democracies should not Britain have asked the people of Palestine?

I am sorry that the peoples of the E.U were not asked. Perhaps Europeans should leave the E.U?

Turkey was a member of LON, and as such accepted the decision.
The whole purpose of the Mandate was to prepare the area for independence.

Jews never want another victims. The role of genocide's victim belong to Jews.
So they wont accept armenians lies.
For them there is only one genocide.

HAHAHA Turkey getting food aid r u F kidding me?

After USA and UK, Turkey stands at 3rd place handing out most humanitarian aid in the world be it money, food, housing, construction and supplying hospitals and donating necesarry equipment and even training personel as well as building schools effectively rebuilding and supporting these needy countries our unique support to Somalia is a good example the country is getting better every passing day.

Turkey even gave Billions of dollars Credit to IMF

Now the roles reversed in the past turkey used to get loans from imf and now imf gets loans from us and they have debt to turkey ;)

Germany, Uk and France are okay but italy is weak it doesn't matter how well your GDP looks like still in Turkey one can buy much more with same amount of money then compared to italy.

Also turkey taking care of 3 million refugees like it's nothing while 100 thousand refugees into europe caused big panic :)

Imagine 3 million refugees enter to italy your country would collapse in two days isn't it, but turkey is very strong.

And anything that goes up will also go down europe's economy and development has reached the top it won't get much better then this while emerging powers like turkey just began the journey.. i wish i can speak to you over 10 years again.

The real purpose was to eventually create the State of Israel.

guess thats the reason why you get swarmed by beggers the moment you leave any building in istanbul. :D

wrong. Your history books must be pretty bad. We killed 14.000 turks there. :)

We would throw people from plane? Thats quite funny since planes back then had two seats. :D

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italo-Turkish_War

we killed 14.000 turk soldiers in combat. And executed 10.000 POW after the war.
There were less than 8.000 Turks, those who organize and lead local militias against Italians as your link also proves it so how come you kill 14.000 Turks?
Thats not what they teach in italy but in world history. And no not 14.000. Its 24.000. :)
What a troll :disagree:

The real purpose was to eventually create the State of Israel.

That is why the British restricted immigration, and eventually stopped all immigration, to please the Arabs,
and abstained from the voting on the issue in the UN.

What's Your next theory:

Hitlers Holocaust was just a devious plan to make Europeans accept Jews immigrating to Israel???

But it was little to late and they knew it. The British are renowned for their "diplomatic" skills.

Have you heard of the Haavara agreement?

I showed you the link. 14.000 turks killed in battle. 10.000 turkish POW died later in our custody. Beside that we won libya. It was a sucess.

According to your link, it is an Italian victory but a very costly one as 8.000 Turks, those who formed and organized Libyan militias, worked on it.

You probably call helpless Libyan civilian's as Turks :)

From your link:

"The invasion of Libya was a costly enterprise for Italy. Instead of the 30 million lire a month judged sufficient at its beginning, it reached a cost of 80 million a month for a much longer period than was originally estimated. The war cost Italy 1.3 billion lire, nearly a billion more than Giovanni Giolitti estimated before the war. This ruined ten years of fiscal prudence.

The proclamation of the Jihad by the Ottomans and the uprising of the Libyans in Tripolitania forced the Italians to abandon all occupied territory and to entrench themselves in Tripoli, Derna, and on the coast of Cyrenaica. The Italian control over much of the interior of Libya remained ineffective until the late 1920s, when forces under the Generals Pietro Badoglio and Rodolfo Graziani waged bloody pacification campaigns. Resistance petered out only after the execution of the rebel leader Omar Mukhtar on September 15, 1931."

"With a decree of November 5, 1911, Italy declared its suzerainty over Libya. Although it controlled the coast, many of the Ottoman troops were not killed in battle. The Ottomans began using guerrilla tactics. Indeed, some "Young Turks" officers reached Libya and helped organize a guerrilla war with local mujahideens. Many local Arabs joined forces with the Turks because of their common faith against the "Christian invaders" and started a bloody guerrilla warfare: Italian authorities adopted many repressive measures against the rebels, such as public hanging as a retaliation for ambushes.

On October 23, 1911 nearly 500 Italian soldiers were slaughtered at Sciara Sciatt in the outskirt of Tripoli by Turkish troops. As a consequence in the next day—during the 1911 Tripoli massacre—Italian troops systematically murdered hundreds of civilians by moving through the local homes and gardens one by one, including setting fire in the fighting to a mosque with one hundred refugees inside. Although Italian authorities attempted to keep then news of the massacre from getting out, the incident soon became internationally known."

as the article said. 24.000 turks killed. and several hundredthousand locals. What counts is victory. And it was a total victory.

After all Italy exists...the ottomans are dead. :D

But on a sidenote, does it botehr you that you never conquerd italy? I mean it was your doom to try. Your sultans ultimate goal was rome. he neaver reached it. Infact the moment you tried italia you lost and lost and lost. Until you started to break up and went down. In retrospect do you see it as idiotic decission to try so hard to win italy?
