No offer of those planes to Argentina, my government and three years ago it has consulted deals, but Argentina has 3 conditions for the purchase, 1) financicion, 2) guarantee provision of spare parts, weapons 3) technological transfer and possible manufacture thereof by FADEA (Argentina aircraft Factory)

Because the IAF would be buying something that doesn't even exist on the market yet. Would you buy a dishwasher before it completed development? Just because your cousin was the one creating it? Probably not. All militarizes are financially picky, their buying habits are conservative for a reason; They don't want to get screwed.

The keywords "are making", not "is made". The Tejas is still in deep development, and there are still no guarantees that it will be fully operational any time soon. With DRDO continuously delaying the fighter, and the Indian air force reportedly unhappy with the fighter's progress, somethings gotta give. It shows you that there is something deeply wrong with the program, one that the DRDO is not being fully upfront about, but that's just me speculating.

Anyway, it's a bad habit to buy something that isn't even completed, on the mere promise that it will turn out great. The US seems to be regretting it's financial disaster with the F-35 precisely for this reason alone.

Here is your problem; the IAF wanted the dishwasher ten years ago.. now it wants dishes that wash themselves.. so while they are happy getting the Dishwasher.. its already going to not matter is it might have back then. In either case, sell your stuff elsewhere.. this is not a Tejas thread.

It is true there is a major limitation, as to an aircraft to choose from, we have many options and in fact this is the only one with 0HS. I mean is not used, which in my country concerned due to the extention of it is the refueling probe if we fly south to north or vice versa is complicated.
