I daily see the helis flying over my house for 23rd March parade. The last trio of the helicopters consists of a MI-17 plus two others quite similar to AW139 but their tails are horizontal unlike Aw139
E.g here is a AW139

I may be mistaken as well..

So u live either in bahria town or one of the housing colonies next to pwd or Gulberg ......
as once the helis pass over pwd they move to the north eastern side of the isd expressway

sir I Live in Askari 1@. The helis fly over the askari towards the parade ground.. But your estimate is quite accurate as today I went ISB and saw them exactly where you are indicating

Nice click, Just a question, what does the white marking on middle top represents?

These markings?

They are guidance/reference markings for the boom operator when refueling in the air.

Might be the angle. Those are the only one's of the sort we have.

Doubt you'd be mistaken by a Z-9. Especially since they have a very distinct tail.

I also thought that it might be a Z-9 but its tail is quite different somewhat similar to the AW139. What intriges me more is that this pair flew along with an MI-17 and was the last trio. Perhaps our photographer friends can help..

You can distinguish or at-least make a guess by searching and recognize the tail of any chopper. You may share the example so the curiosity will be served at best.

I observed them above Srinagar Highway and those three were PAF element. Indeed the duo behind the MI were AW-139s. Regards.

Perhaps. I was thinking the same that they might be of PAF but I was intrigued as the trio was quite unique. Also this type of trio had never appeared before in a parade.
