I am a vegitarian from birth and will remain the same till death.

Not because my religion encourages vegitarianism.
Not because eating Non-Veg is supposedly considered immoral, unethical.
Not because I am afraid that I will be involved indirecty in killing of animals.
Not because my cultural upbringing was in vegitarian environment.
Not because of health reasons.

Its simply because I consider vegitarianism as a way of life; and i dont want
break this discipline. :pop:

Biologically, we evolved to be omnivorous.

Our guts can deal with both meat AND vegetable matter. But unlike a cow, we cannot digest a large number of veggies.

The simple truth is, meat is a much more dense and efficient form of nutrition. This is why herbivores eat morning til night, browsing, while carnivores like lions only have to eat once every day to three days.

Given a chance, chimpanzees, our closest genetic relative on earth, kill and eat monkeys by being cooperative hunting gangs.

Cause i am a Human and i have a heart..

Definitely yes..

Do you think vegetarianism is morally superior to meat consumption?

Yes, I Do.

Everything boils down to priorities. I see that many believe that their entertainment/desires/satisfaction for taste are more important than compassion and concern for others.

Ohh.. Nice...

it's ok to be veg or non-veg but not right to deem the other as morally superior/inferior etc infact both are equal i am a hardcore meat eater i eat ducks, chicken, pigeons, beef, rabbits, lobster's,prawn's,crab, fish, squids even raw meat but i never hold any belife of non-vegs better then veg etc's i belive they are both are equally human & respect both to each his own i am a member of unicef & i relentlessly campaign against child abuse/child slavery, death penelty & labor rights

Nailed it Sir. Choice of Veg/ Non-veg/Both are equally human and respectable, and to each his own; In fact making the choice is as difficult as answering the following question. :D

I turned an eggetarian when I realised that my education has made me overcome the animal instinct and that I no longer need to kill another being to satisfy my hunger.

I eat to live. I don't live to eat.

Yes I am a vegetarian (eggs included) because I grew up as one. Tried some chicken/ fish/ beef out of curiosity but the taste/ smell/ texture did not seem appealing hence did not pursue.

1.......Except beef (religious reasons) and pork (culinary reasons) everything is halal for me...
