Fine, the middle class has to do it. Have you started doing so, yet? And if not, why not?
Middle class is too busy worrying about their own life. There are bigger concerns ie providing enough food , clean water ,sanitation , thousands still living in tents after floods , 4 million refugees , electrical crisis , rampant corruption , security situation , proper transportation , agricultural shortfall , half of the population is illterate and the list is endless.
Looking at above , one can understand how wrong the priorities of these Salafist Libs are , they write about Issues that only concern a tiny elite who drive BMWs , spend their holidays in Vegas , Bali , Maldives , Turkey. Only thing relates them to Pakistan is their brain farting agenda to secularize Pakistan to suit their life style while totally ignoring the chronic problems that face Pakistan. Problems that really matter , that really affect millions everyday. I hate the way Pakistani English media is dominated by Liberal Salafists and Urdu media dominated by feudalistic morons.
I , never read anything that focuses on the real issues , because both groups have different priorities , one is busy secularizing Pakistan and other one is busy in playing politics , the poor and the disadvantaged remain unheard of.
In the end i believe that the article is based on no solid evidence but has been written on an armchair with a latte' sitting next on the table. It represents no hard facts , no figures and is nothing but a self serving brain fart. Pakistanis are not extremists and do not support extremism of any kind. Extremism is a state of mind which generates out of a collective understanding of a society developed after the circumstances effect everyone one way or the other. No nation is an extremist nation , there are elements that exist with in every nation , creed culture that may be described as extremist but tagging an entire nation as an extremist nation reflects an extremist thought in its own.
I am going to have to close the debate. Thanks for participation.
