Arakan army people do not look like Rohingyas. They are probably the Buddhist Arakanese. They should unite with ARSA and fight against the Burmese to realize an Arakan, independent of both BD and MM.

Kachin Independence Army produced Type 81 variants dubbed the M23, comes with updated polymer furniture with a Sun Motif. Not much is known about their manufacturing details due to their clandestine origins, possibly unofficially licensed built with PRC tooling as proxy military aid delivered through Bangladesh.

Afaik only 3 countries make Type 81s....Did China help the KIA?

The Arakan Army oficially opposes both the Burmese, and the Bangladeshi Governments, and want Arakan to be a sovereign state (and they also include Cox's Bazar, and the Hill Tracts in their designs).

They also oppose Rohingyas, and call them terrorists, and probably have some hand in driving out the refugees out of Rakhine as well.

Simply put, they are our enemies, and our military has had skirmishes with them since 2015 when horses/ammunition from them were seized.

This. One must recall the riots in Rakhine in 2012. They were communal in nature and were between Rohingya and the Rakhine. In fact, it's reported that Rakhine Communalists played a hand in the recent Rohingya exodus.

They may hate the Bamar, but they have no love for the Rohingya at all.
