I cringe every time I hear cliches like this. "Resilient"? What was expected of the survivors - never to attend school again? Of course, life has to go on - everybody has to go to school or work sooner or later. I keep hearing news channels speaking about the "resilience" of a city a few days after a terror attack there. I have the Indian media in mind when I say this. "Mumbai's resilience", "Delhi's resilience", and so on. It is such a thoughtless platitude.

On topic, I hope those children can overcome the trauma that was inflicted on them. This atrocity made me shed tears, for the first time in many years. Pakistanis, please ensure that the groups and ideologies that did this are crushed and buried.

I think "Resilient" is the perfect term to use. When you suffer traumatic stress you can go into a regressive state from which you may never recover. I have worked with people who have suffered PTSD and never had that "chat" with people, instead the took all the "hurt" and locked it up inside a cupboard. One day that cupboard opens and it all comes crashing out and that is dangerous.

Looking at the pictures I can see apparent signs of psychosocial trauma on some of the children, I can see this because I have had to deal with children who lost everything, their homes, families and friends in 2005, 2010, 2011 disasters in Pakistan, I can see that same "thousand yard stare" on the boy in the first picture on Post#2.

the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness:

So what these little heroes are doing today is just that. Believe you me, when I saw a colleague die due to a terrorism incident, it took me a very, very long time to come to terms with it. I just hope that these children and their families can come to terms with what happened, and learn to build and rebuild.

Killing innocent people does not comes in the context of bravery or resiliant. Israel is just a coward country which feels proud in killing little kids, which only indians like you appreciates. The only resilient country on planet is Pakistan who in spite of loosing 80000+ civilians and against all odds still fighting these terrorists.
And just look at those kids, after watching their friends being killed in front of their eyes by terrorists, they are still here, they didnt asked their parents to not sent them to this school but instead they were saying that they are not afraid of terrorists and they shall continue their study no matter what happens.
But If still you cant see this then i am afraid i cant help you since you are a complete blind.
