lol. I still have Prescott series P4 and sometimes using as a server, and yes it has an IDE HDD on it also.

Still, it's still more up-to-date than the IBM Series/1 computers many US defense department uses for intercontinental ballistic missiles functions, tanker aircrafts etc..

If it's not broken, don't fix it.

Are you a PC gamer? Not to nitpick — but PC Master race was a term coined during the early stages of the great console wars back in ‘08.

In defiance of all the console peasants who came up with it to mock PC gamers, they instead took it in their stride and wear it today as a badge of honour. Some might call them douchebags. Others might call them Nazis. Yet others might call them narcissists. But I beg to differ.

While today's young people can't stand the slightest snagging while scrolling on Instagram, we used to pray for 10 minutes not to get stuck while loading games from the tape. Later, when my father was bought an Amiga 600 to me, I had sound and valid reasons that we had reached the end point and can not advance any further. The systems our generation first met are ridiculously primitive for the current generation. However, there is one thing I still advocate: the developers of that period were produced extraordinarily succesfull works on those primitive systems.

The subject of the thread is M2. It offers incredible production technology and power efficiency. But at the end of the day, hundreds of millions of people will carry this power in their pockets for Instagram and Pubg.

That takes me back... The first computer I assembled myself was a 450Hz PII running Windows 98.

Come to think of it I believe the P2 450 was the first one I built a machine with..but Windows 95 as I recall and a Canopus Pure3D graphics card to run Quake.

Back then you were basically forced to build your own machine because a 3D card was not standard in new machines and all that SLI stuff required a board with alot of slots.
