Islamabad: Prominent Pakistani actress and All Pakistan Muslim League vice president Atiqa Odho was off-loaded from a Karachi bound flight after the airport officials found wine in her luggage here on Saturday.

Sources said that the Airport Security Force (ASF) officials recovered two bottles of wine in Atiqa’s luggage resultantly she was disembarked from the plane at Benazir International Airport Islamabad. However it was yet not clear the ASF lodged any report against her.

Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf appointed Atiqa as vice president of his (APML) last week and announced that he would come to Pakistan on March 23 next year.

musharraf party, :lol::lol::lol::lol:

that bastard has ruined all, foremost pakistan..

I don't really understand why this is even law.

Even if she does drink, its her business. But then again, there's are laws in Pakistan that shouldn't be there

and i dont understand why a political lady had to break the law??? can you answer that??

as for law part, in US there are many laws against drugs, in netherlands they arent it all depends on one's perspectives, alcohol also is bad of health and against good manners and its haram in islam

what ministry would she hold once APML clean sweeps the 2012 general elections?I am guessing she might be the next Speaker of the National Assembly

yes alcohol makes a person more aggressive,his judgment and perception gets altered,,he might drive rashly or kill a person in response to a slap...under divine law it is surely a social evil that has more cons than pros:agree:

there are many famous people from pakistan who are heavy drinker!
big deal! its their life! they know whats best for them!
our job is to tell them right or wrong but if they still want to then there is not much we can do...

Honestly that law shouldn't even be there, it wasn't there before Zia came in and messed up the whole country. Alcohol isn't banned in the US and in most of the world. Too much alcohol I agree is not good for your health, but prohibition NEVER works. People do drink in Pakistan and find ways to obtain alcohol despite of the ban. It is haram in Islam but its up for an individual person to decide if they want to drink or not (btw not everyone is Muslim in Pakistan), why should the state force decisions on you? Isn't Pakistan supposed to be "democracy"

It's quite funny to see adamant PTI (Justice) supporters jumping into conclusions. Do not forget your leaders past. Further more, it's her life. Who are we to judge. All I care about, who is sincere and whose not. Unlike, a liar who pretends to be justice queen while surrendering to criminals.

Drinking, adultery, homosexuality, bisexuality, drugs etc are quite common for media people.;) Don't expect Attiqa to be any different.
