What's new

APC Talha , Al Hamza variant ...

Old news. Even older would be the PIFV.
Which makes hamza strange since we already did have a prototype ifv out there...

No not really. if you notice this picture, you will notice that it needs a gunner in the turrent to fire and control the turret whereas if you look the Hamza and the Viper closely, you'll realize that there is no room in the turret for a gunner...it is all controlled by the crew within the chassis.

That is your opinion, it looks quite nice to me and you should not really be aiming for "looks" when it comes to military products.

However it may look, Pakistan has had the M113 since the 1960's, utilizing it in almost every terrain imaginable and against various adversaries employing numerous fighting methods from unconventional fighting on the rugged terrain of FATA, conventional warfare on the plains of Punjab and semi-conventional fighting in Bosnia, Africa and so much more.

Our engineers know every centimeter of this machine and with 60 years of experience in countless conditions, I am confident they know what is required to perfect the M113 and it's many variants that are used in Pakistan.
Still a small group of street thugs were able to penetrate it by their rifle bullets.

PA has a great appetite for IFVs but its budgetary constraints imply the Viper will not be inducted in sufficient numbers.

An alternative is to buy used BMP-2's from different sources, establish maintenance & rebuild facilities within Pakistan. This will enable conversion of more infantry battalions into MIBs at a fraction of the cost.
