"Supersonic Jet Powered UAV "
This Super Sonic thing got my attendance.

Design looks good
Any substantial future or this NASTP is just playing model games with us?

Not much information other than it’s a jet powered UAV but can’t be super sonic looking at the unswept wings. But other really knowledgeable members can clarify.
Straight wings can be supersonic.

it’s just not practical when other easier options exit.

It's not whatever this person has described it to be - It's called Python and is some type of loitering munition

They've also supposedly designed an in-house engine of some kind (below)

Very good start for applications in small drones. Next is the journey towards small Turbo jet/fans in single digit kN category to power cruise missiles and a bit larger drones.
At IDEAS 2022 they show casing their own turbojet engine for cruise missiles will try to find some pictures of it.
can we utilize these mini turbo jet engines ro make something like raptor 3??
