Anti-sub vessel INS Kavaratti set for launch next week

In sub hunting you can't track sub in high speed & if submarine launch the torpedo then ship would launch their anti ship decoys. It would be not as maneuverable & accelerate as high speed FACs.
Destroyers & Frigates which can cross 35 knots would also take same speed during sub hunting.
I am agreeing with you ,but the decoys may be a bad choice some times.if a requirement arise for run we have to run and clear the area as early as possible just like what INS Kripan did in 71 war.

I am agreeing with you ,but the decoys may be a bad choice some times.if a requirement arise for run we have to run and clear the area as early as possible just like what INS Kripan did in 71 war.
You can some evasive maneuvers against obsolete torpedos but not against like Black Shark. INS Kirpan did evasive maneuvers but not in 25+ speed because its maximum speed was 27 knots which they can't accelerate instantly.
So, ideal choice would sail with cruising speed & track subs with the help of towed array sonar & helicopter mounted dunking sonar & eliminate them.
If they some how fire torpedo on ship then try to avoid with evasive maneuvers & decoys.
