Absolute none sense.well, i must repeat this for the 20th time maybe.
india was never socialist... politically or in general culture... the bombay stock exchange is one of the oldest stock exchanges in the world, established in 1875... never was it shut down in the last 67 years... other such hints.
i will give you example of real socialism ( from libyan jamahiriya )...
1. housing as a human right to all... the house to be lived rent-free, until the resident's wish to live there.
2. water and electricity are free.
3. any person wishing to do agriculture is given land, tractors, housing, tools, seeds... all for free.
4. education system ( of one's choice ) locally for free, with the system sponsoring a student's foreign education.
5. medical treatment ( top class ) for free, with the state sponsoring foreign treatment.
6. socialist legal system, for free.
7. superb irrigation system.
8 any person wishing to do business given 20,000 usa dollars as start-up fund.
9. any non-employed person given welfare by the system of 7000 dollars ( later 1000 dollars ).
10. simple marriage, where the couple are given 60,000 dollars at wedding.
11. 5000 dollars at the birth of female child.
12. loans given without interest calculations.
13. nationalization of oil and mineral resources.
leave aside india, which south asian nation or how many nations in the world had such first-rate facilities and comforts??
--------
but this discussion is about cuba.
No idea. Maybe they just have nothing better to do.
LOL. No, this is the first I have ever heard of both these rumors. If they want to give them tents then so be it. There isn't anything illegal about that.
What?...
Lebanon says, 'GET OUT, SYRIA' !!
YOU might.
The point you missed is your expecting rational arguments from people who clasify funding a Hip Hop band as the bay of pigs II.
Absolute none sense.
Don't get me wrong I replied to you ideas of giving this and that to the people without you mention how without resources all you talk about is a mere wishful thinking.so what is your story, my friend?? did you get oppressed by gaddafi goons??
Don't get me wrong I replied to you ideas of giving this and that to the people without you mention how without resources all you talk about is a mere wishful thinking.
BTW your Gaddafi is a retard please don't get mad at me, he just like our Saddam all scums.
Please mandela and Gaddafi that's unfair the first one a man who strugle for better S.Africa while Gaddafi is another arab shaikh.well, i never saw you defend saddam, you live in usa, your user-name is of a religious person, so i understand you.
Please mandela and Gaddafi that's unfair the first one a man who strugle for better S.Africa while Gaddafi is another arab shaikh.
Back in the 70s and 80s, when the West refused to allow sanctions against Apartheid in South Africa and used to call Mandela a terrorist, it was none other than Libya's Muammar Gaddafi who kept supporting him. Gaddafi funded Mandela's fight against Apartheid by training ANC fighters and by paying for their education abroad, and their bond only became stronger after Mandela's release from prison on February 11, 1990.
"I have also invited Brother Leader Gaddafi to this country. And I do that because our moral authority dictates that we should not abandon those who helped us in the darkest hour in the history of this country. Not only did the Libyans support us in return, they gave us the resources for us to conduct our struggle, and to win. And those South Africans who have berated me for being loyal to our friends, can literally go and jump into a pool."
I some times see Gaddafi as a dreamer of united arab but that was a bigger dream than him unfortunately we Arab been cursed by these foolish leaders who belong to the medeaval ages.
We are a nation that will never die.
Bro, in Iraq we have a saying says that he has his hand in water not like the one who has his hand boiling oil.gaddafi wasn't another arab shaikh, no comparison between him and some saudi prince... seems you didn't read the article...
mandela's anc was one of the many world freedom movements and democracy movements that received political support, training and funding from gaddafi's libya.
true, he was a dreamer, and he spent his blood and sweat making dreams in reality for 40 years.
but he wasn't an "arab nationalist" like what is said by western government media... he was a socialist wanting to spread socialism in the "arab word", africa and everywhere else.
if he was leader of "arab league" he was also leader of "african union".
yes, with two+ million dead since 1980 and many millions displaced... why are you not angry with the people who caused this ( iran mullah government and the usa government )??
you know, i was young in 1990 in india and we had a saying... "bush ko push karo, saddam hussain ko khush karo" which means "push ( eliminate ) george bush and make saddam hussain happy"... seems like we in those times india were more respectful of saddam than many iraqis who allowed the western nations to kill and destroy iraq.
Iraqis know Saddam more than the others he was a boiling oil.
That's the view of none Iraqis who never xposed to his savagness.my uncle worked in iraq for years until 1990... he said that saddam's years were fine years for iraq.
and if saddam was problem for some iraqis, why after 2003 did these iraqis not choose another leader for the iraqi ba'ath socialist movement?? why allow puppets of usa government and iran government to rule iraq??
no, the iraqis you speak of did not just hate saddam, they hated socialism itself.
iraq was a power under saddam... what is it now??
may i ask your age??
