Another Saudi military aircraft crashed in less than 24 hours

RIYADH - A Hawk aircraft of Saudi Air Forces crashed during a training mission on Monday, but its pilot survived after using a parachute, Saudi News Agency reported.

The accident occurred in less than 24 hours after the crash of a F15 jet of Royal Saudi Air Forces, the reported said quoting an official source at Defense Ministry.

The Hawk aircraft, serving at King Faisal Air Base in northwestern region, crashed due to a technical glitch while approaching the runway, the source said. The pilot has been referred to a hospital, with no information of his condition released so far.

The F15 jet was also on a training mission, with the pilot still missing.

Two technical teams have been formed to investigate the two accidents.

sparky this is second thread.... within 2min about jet crash...lol

.
Well crashes do happen all the time in all the countries around the world. It is just whether how many of them get reported outside to either hide weaknesses or have the illusion of superiority by hiding faults.

Saudi has the courage to say it openly which is perfectly normal.

If the pilots are safe, that is what matters the most.

The birds can be bought again; pilots cannot.

Yes Pilot safety should be the utmost priority but still accidents needs to be investigated and should try their level best to decrease them as much as they can and also replace the old places and buy the new and more deadly ones

hiding Aircraft crash ? that sound very hard to me.

. . . .
I'd rather thank the one who created man and gives him knowledge to invent parachute to be used in such a situation.

So you thank God as well if pilots die during a crashing? That would be equally justified as well. If you thank him in one case, thank/criticize him in other cases as well. Perhaps thank him when Iranian F-4 pilots a couple of months ago crashed and died.

Current discussion BTW you and me is completely irrelevant to the thread and I'm not interested to continue it .. if you are , tell me to do it somewhere else ...

Y es I would thank him , admittedly it is so hard ,most of people are thankful when there is no trouble or immediate danger , but be careful I'm responsible base upon my knowledge , as he is responsible base on his knowledge too. he knows something that I dunno , to me crashing a plane could appear a disaster but who knows maybe if it had not happened ,something worse than it would have taken place ... he is God almighty and he does what he intends , can you mouth off with him? I dare you ... he is the real wisdom thus his acts aren't aimless but we don't know the aim. could you please tell what is good what isn't?

All people die one day earthquake , heart attack , accident and so on even your plane could crash so what is the different ? I thanked him 'cause he gave the pilot a second chance , he could have let him die ...

A story of Imam Sadigh (A.S) ;

Qutaybah al-A`sha has reported: I went to the presence of Imam al-Sadiq to visit his ill son. I found the Imam sad and worried at the door. I asked, “May I be your ransom! How is the child?” Then Imam said, “By Allah! He is badly afflicted!” The Imam entered the house, stayed there for an hour and returned to us with shining face. It looked like that sorrow had left the Imam. I said hopefully to myself that the child had probably improved. So I said, “May I be your ransom! How is the child?” The Imam said, “He died!” I said, “May I be your ransom. When he was alive you were sad but now that he has died you are no sadder. How is it that?” The Imam said, “We, Ahl al-Bayt, are anxious before the calamity; but when Allah’s decree is passed, we are content with it and we are in a state of submission to Him.”
