وی افزود: بررسی‌های بیشتری برای علت و شناسایی این پهپاد انجام خواهد شد.

معاون انتظامی استانداری خوزستان گفت: اکنون هیچ مشکلی وجود ندارد و این سقوط خسارتی به دنبال نداشته است.

Crashes in Southern Iran


TEHRAN (FNA)- A foreign reconnaissance drone has crashed in Southern Iran, local officials announced on Saturday.

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed in a region near the city of Shoush in Southwestern Khuzestan province on Friday.

No further details, including the origin of the drone, have been released yet, but officials said they will release more details about the incident in coming hours. The security forces are investigating the crash.

"TEHRAN (FNA)- A military official dismissed media reports claiming that a number of Russian cruise missiles have been fired at the terrorists' positions in Syria from Iran's territorial waters in the Caspian Sea.

"No cruise missile has been fired at the terrorists' positions in Syria from Iran's territorial waters in the Caspian Sea or through Iran's air space," an informed official of the Iranian Armed Forces said referring to the Russian missile launch at terrorist targets in Syria from the Caspian Sea in recent days.

In all countries, initial comments about an incident can be vague and confusing and contradictory, because each media wants to rush out to be give breaking news, and officials might say something that they haven't had the opportunity to fully check yet. This is not unique to Iran's media nor to it's politicians.

Give it time, then you will have a better report, and then you can be free to call them liars, if you think they are falsifying information.

I think a spy drone as a cruise missile would not be retrieved intact as it would explode..

The crash site tells you that it wasn't fired from a ship, thus rules out Caspian Sea and probably from a bomber. But why would a missile from a bomber fall so deep into Iran and no way close to Syria!
