Imran Khan and the PTI had an excellent opportunity to use their protests and the public support they had to push for institutional reforms in the Election Commission, Law Enforcement and the bureaucracy - instead, they made lives miserable, incited illegal activities and a disrespect for the rule of law among Pakistanis.

How far and low the Khan hath fallen. Many had hoped that with age his politics would have matured and that he would work towards building a party structure and party manifesto with tangible suggestions for improving/reforming the existing systems in place. Alas, that hope was nothing but a pipe-dream.

I thought the delay was for biometric system.

If the elections were to happen without it anyway, why not hold in within the first 90 days, as Imran khan had promised? What a crucial waste of time.

And now that we have waited for so long for the system, they change their mind. I think they should wait few more months and still opt for biometric system. A few months wait for the term is worth it considering the elected will be in office for years to come.

Its no U turn they asked for time from SC so they can get the system but they are not listening and elections without them will waste off time and if major elections take place without this you are looking at civil war

If you are gonna talk like sick, you will become one.

Biometric system brought by PTI which is good idea, but given the budget of ECP, hands-on system is being used at this moment.

Whether PMLN or PTI brings the proposal for public, but in reality, it will be seen as the individual's act, from technical legal's perspective.

That way PMLN or PTI can take credit for public's convenience.
