If you remember in april 2013 army suffered heavy casaulties at the very begining of tirah operation, there was media black out by ISPR. After 3 months army announced that they have cleared tirah. But even after that we were still recieving news of clashes and gunship helicopter engagements mith militants. And now whenever north waziristan is bombed through jets, at the same time tirah is also bombed through jets......it means those rumours of tirah operation being disaster were true.

Yes clearly they fed wrong info. further more stupid claims like that only 5% of FATA is under taliban control, rest is cleared and that operation will take only weeks to clear the rest... clearly misguiding as still peshawar gets atttacked, kohat blast today is another example of how vulnerable things are !

Peshawar and Kohat are in KPK and not in FATA. They are your responsibility not army's.They are PTI's provincial govt responsibility. Accept the responsibility and fulfill it.

Having under control doesn't mean miscreants can't enter the area from surrounding areas. Even Peshawar is under PTI "control". Then why we are witnessing bomb attacks every other day.

Afghan was fried up with airstrikes, T-virus is back now.

Iraq was "liberated" many towns have insurgents running around openly. Recently one city or town was completely said to be under terrorist control.

Concept is not elimination of bodies but the ideology. The ones beyond redemption are being reduced to soil.

If PA personnel went around with turbans and rpgs one would mistake them as T-virus. On the other hand when the T-virus comes/ goes as civilians and attacks in the most cowardly ways, targeting army but not caring if 30+ people around going about their usual business die, which makes it easier for them to come back for infestation after a beating.

If army is using F-16 on tirah then it means militants have still strong positions there and they cant be tackled with merely ground troops. It is very clear that army was not able to establish writ there neither they have full control and presence over the whole area. If i am not wrong miranzai and bara valleys of tirah are still not cleared. It shouldnt be surprising, terrain of tirah is much difficult than even waziristan.

Tirah is heavily forested area , there are still pockets where militant are holed up so it's perfectly ok to use air strikes once they have been identified and the militants are in hiding since they cannot walk freely like they did in swat where they were running police stations

To have an idea about the area we are talking about , then tirah valley is not just one village or a few hills it's 700 square miles dotted with passes and heavily forested areas , To get a comparative idea New York is about 400 square miles of total area .. The main arteries , settlements and villages are under Pak Army control in tirah valley but still militants are present in the area and that's what he army communicated earlier
