Another Indian Jawan killed in Samba Sector :LOC

A Border Security Force (BSF) man was killed after the armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

An official said that Head Constable Jagpal Singh of A Coy 173 Bn was wounded after Pakistan resorted to firing on Indian posts.

Singh, he said, was shifted to District Hospital Samba for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Earlier in the day, three civilians were killed in RS Pura sector in firing and shelling from across the border.

The fresh killings took place a day after a top BSF official said that the situation on the border was “very tense”.

A BSF man and a minor girl were killed in firing from across the border yesterday. Pakistan also said that two of its civilians were killed in “unprovoked” Indian firing.

bsf always claim too much high. like 40 posts destroyed 15 killed or 10 killed.
bsf have some morale issues I guess.

but anyway we reject bsf claim as false.

and even if you go by claims not accepted. our bat visited you killing 6. 3 killed in retaliation that day. 2 killed now. its 11.

MEA summons Pakistan deputy high commissioner over ceasefire violations

NEW DELHI: Ministry of External Affairs today summoned the Pakistan's deputy high commission to convey its concern over the incidents of ceasefire violations on the Line of Control and International Border (IB), reported ANI.

The government conveyed its grave concern to the deputy high commissioner of Pakistan Syed Haider Shah at the continued ceasefire violations and "deliberate" targeting of innocent civilians by Pakistan forces.

"Pakistan was called upon to adhere to the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding for maintaining peace and tranquillity along the Line of Control and the International Boundary," the ministry added.

Earlier today, Pakistan had summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner J.P. Singh to condemn the "unprovoked ceasefire violations" by Indian forces along the International Border in Sialkot Sector, that left one civilian dead and injured nine others.

Earlier in the day, at least 11 civilians were injured in various areas of Jammu and Kashmir as Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control.
Two civilians were injured in the ceasefire violation in Ramgarh sector, five in Hiranagar sector in Kathua and four in RS Pura sector in the Valley.
