What's new

Another Apple employee from China has been charged with stealing self-driving car secrets

They probably can't even bend a paperclip correctly without us showing them the way.

lol, Chinese probably "stole" the technology they came up with in the first place, without Chinese engineer patenting all the technology for western companies, where would all these "American innovation and ingenuity" be? none.

Something seriously wrong with the chinese character. I can understand a occasional ipr thief but Chinese seem to have zero morals. In 90% of the cases its a Chinese guy stealing from Western companies. The most shameless people ever. And having worked with them , I have seen this first hand. Crooks to the core.

LOL, don't kid yourself, CIA/NSA are the biggest thief in the world stealing secretes around the world over the past 6 decades. Over the past 60 years in the US, 95% of IP infringement cases were committed by American companies and American companies only. Just recently Oracle sued Google billions for stealing their patent, and Qualcomm sued Apple billions for stealing their patent. Samsung also lost billions last year to Apple for stealing patents. There's not a single American large tech company that hasn't settled, sued or fined for patent stealing in the past, YES, not a single one, name one large American tech company, I can find scores of patent stealing cases they got sued on in the past. That's not including thousands of small American companies currently standing in trial today for stealing patents. Just because you don't hear about it and American media don't report it, doesn't mean American aren't the biggest thief in the world. Talk about 0 moral, and the most shameless people ever. American are the ultimate crooks.

how sad you are supporting theft.
chinese engineers should get patents on research done in chinese labs , they should not steal from american labs .

Thousands of Indians working in Western countries..How many cases of Indians being caught every year ?

Indian don't come up with patents anyway, just look at your country's own abysmal patent filing record, ranked among the bottom in the world. Most tech stealing cases committed by Chinese engineers are stealing patents came up by themselves in that company.

Yeah, like I said, most of these patents were probably patented by Chinese engineers themselves anyway.

US first stole from UK and then Germany, in the 1980's US never claimed that China steals, but now seeing new things coming out of China by the day, suddently they claimed all those things were stolen from US, I only see increasing acute sense of iinsecurity of US towards China now.

We file the world biggest number of patents now , even US doesn't have technology restrictions for transfers to India and actively teach you how to make things, India still can't.

Remember this article, American stole entire UK technology in the 19th century when it was technologically behind. US also stole entire German car and rocket technology in order to reach parity for which US to develop on, American are some of the most low moral thieves, yet they turn around accusing China, LOL.

We were pireates too

India forced US to transfer entire F16 technology in order to get Indian defense market business, talk about forced tech transfer. Even with the tech transfer, Indian still can't make anything on their own.

US is very much afraid of losing a future tech war with China and now they resort to smearing campaigns, useless in the end.
You guys are worse than your thieving countrymen. Shamelessly justifying stolen goods.

You can claim whatever you want, can't hide the increasing sense of insecurity that you are showing to the world.

even then you are stealing tech from developped countries.

We do business with EU more , which benefits both parties, EU is not like a whining little American girl crying of stealing every day, cause they know doing business and sharing technologies benefits themselves too. US just shows how insecure they become when dealing with anything that comes to China.

And I also wonder why Indians are so emotionally psyched on this issue, just because you don't know how to make anything?

I see tons of Indian jealousy in this thread.

Apple lost 50% of its sales in India in one year and China APPs became most popular APPs in India in 2018, is India's number one installed APP TikTok something we copied from Apple?

don't forget stealing the secret of German submarines and Japan torpedo

To be frank, there is nothing much Indians can do even if they steal. Building a company and selling products requires lot more effort than slaving for wages, there is tonne of risk which even established companies in India dont take. For that matter of fact even if the technology is handed down on a platter its is very hard to master and it also needs a ecosystem to survive & thrive.

dude , you need to understand some thing. companies/countries steal all the time. There is no such thing as moral here. Once you get into business of making money or your taking your country to the top its a no holds barred contest. Some ppl get caught , others dont some succeed while others fail thats the only difference.

Either we copy from someone improvise it or reverse engineer or create similar things these things are happening from time immemorial. To say westerners dont steal or copy is not right. Just think about in history how silk making or gun powder or decimal system were all copied from each other over period of time. Remember most of the western civilization started its technical ascendancy during from 1500AD reaching a pinnacle during 1800's industrial revolution until then most of it was copied while they traded with other civilizations.

Read the story. He was a newly joined employee who was put on probation for poor performance. He decided to make money by stealing designs and in his words use as a insurance incase of being fired. He wasn't planning to set up a billion dollar enterprise but was just planning to sell off the designs like a common thief. Thank god Indians are not like him.

Whatever people that China has, India also has and same is true in US, people are people , don't speake like Indians are nobler than other human beings.
