Hmmm

No, graphic designers cannot be illiterate. Its a case of lack of attention to detail.

I see similar snafu's almost daily at work, most ppl simply cut & paste whatever they come across without checking details.

No guy in his right senses would place a Ashoka emblem in place of the star or place the pic of a Pak AF chief or go wrong in locating cities on map.

They just dont care or check.

I think they superimposed the route over a map and screwed up the scaling of the maps..

yes, they failed to shrink the 'railway line' while overlaping the images.

m not trying to defend this blooper....but this is to the guys who actually have some interest in geography instead of laffing it off (cant say i disapprove of it , LOL) :
1. look at the lines connecting the cities.
2. look carefully, u will notice that the scale of the lines connecting the dots (the cities) is much larger than that of the map , due to which the western cities are being gifted to pakistan and the eastern ones to bay of bengal.
3. the person who superimposed the two images must be high on dope
