Everyone from Google, Microsoft, HP, IBM, Cisco, Dell, Intel, Qualcomm, Broadcom, GE, Citibank employs tens of thousands of software engineers in India

It's incomparable. The value of the dollar in 2005 is worth way more than the dollar in 2016 when it's adjusted for inflation. A good example is movie gross. Shrek 2 made $441 million in 2004 adjusted for inflation it made $625 million in 2016.
