The writer is a hindu fanatic. He is spot on about the mindset of some (but not all) muslims – note that every single region in India that was majority muslim chose to be independent, drive out minorities (150m muslims in India, how many Hindus left in Pakistan?) and become an Islamic republic. Its clear from J&K, where the Hindus of Jammu and Buddhists of Ladakh are perfectly happy in India, and only the muslims of Kashmir, despite massive government aid and Article 370, want “freedom.” And what did these “freedom” fighter do first of all? The genocide of the peaceful Kashmiri pundits, for which they have shown no remorse.
But he is completely wrong in suggesting that the Indians should behave like them. Hinduism, for all it’s faults (especially the caste system) has always been about tolerance, we welcomed the Jews, the Parsis, even the muslims. Hindus never attacked or robbed other countries, try to force our religion on others by force, burn down places of worship. It’s amusing, that most muslim countries see so much violence between shia/sunni/ahmadi, because they are so intolerant of any other way of thinking, while in India they are forced to respect each other. Ahmadis in India are far more safe than in Pakistan, no muslim in India faced the kind of persecution that the Bangladeshis faced. This is something to be proud of, that makes all Indian religions (not just Hinduism but also other Indian faiths such as Buddhism/Jainism/Sikhism) far more noble than Islam and Christianity. We should try to maintain it, no matter what the provocation.
