Point 5240 is still occupied by india ( althgough now its very vulnerable ) BUT point 5353 was liberated and is back with Pakistan. India's claims over whole of Kashmir are illigitamte what to talk of Kargil

Your defence minster lied on this issue and it seems that the indian defence establishment makes tall calims regularly , as one see in the statement of General Kapoor also regarding attacking both China and Pakistan all the while not having the capability to do so
