An Open Letter to Moderate Muslims

If there has been 1000 of post condemning ISIS then there has been 10000 of post abusing Jews/Israel.

How many violent protests have happened in Pakistan against ISIS? Yes we saw many on a film.

@waz You are a nice person, nobody questions you.

Thank you for your nice words my friend.

Ok, those who abuse Jews are stupid, but criticism of Israel's actions don't have to go hand in hand with criticism of ISIS. Although I will admit the outrage is greater for the previous.

I agree, Islam and Muslims are simply irrelevant in the bigger picture, if you wan't to address the Muslim problem, then deal with the politics of Middle East. The REAL root cause.

There's probably a lot more going on there than what it appears on the surface regarding ISIS.

@Jungibaaz @Loki you might not agree with the author of the article, but do you at least concede that not every non muslim who criticize islam is a racist or hates muslims...
do you at least sympathize the dilemma that non muslims have, in believing that islam is peaceful, not because ISIS or other phenomena which are rooted more in politics than religion... but beliefs of most peaceful muslims that can directly be traced to quran and hadith (death for apostasy for example)

No, I don't sympathize with their dilemma. What they believe is their personal matter. We are not in any position to determine that. And I'd say the same to the author.

Whole lot more, the entire Middle East conflict is completely misrepresented in the media. The ideological conflict is overplayed and the hidden politics and power games are completely ignored.

Sir your last questions tell it clearly you need to clear your vision off Islam off course physics is studied through physics book

If you agree with that, then what part of my post is it do you not agree with?

Not completely ignored, just represented in a one-sided way. Turkey's reluctance to help the Kurds in Kobani, who share their moral values btw, is not ignored. But the powerpolitics of the west Are largely ignored indeed. I guess the western news agencies have as little choice in that as PressTV does in ignoring crackdowns by the Iranian government on the Iranian green movement.

Turkey has been bombing PKK positions within Turkey during the conflict, further complicating matters for the Kurds fighting in Kobani.

Now unless there is an urgent initiative for the "Balkanization" of Iraq, the Kurds along with their dreams of nationalism are doomed. But that option could be too late now.

Iraq is not gonna be "balkanized".. it will be left to the Shia now "in control", the west will seek to push the Shia of Iraq to be more of an "inclusive government" - representing all Iraqis. This will fail (@CENTCOM ), for the Shia like most arab tribes do not want to share the (oil-)wealth with other tribes.
Iraq and Syria (same problem sharing wealth) will remain a hell for a long while to come :(

. .
This is the vacuum in which ISIS operates. This non-sharing of wealth. We saw the same problem in Europe (economic discontent leading to war) just before WW1 and WW2. It's the same in this WW3 aka "the war on terror".. Only this time the "solution" is Islamic extremism, not "eradication of the Jews" as it was in WW2..

Islam is perfect.
Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Have you read the Koran? How can you say that it is anything less than perfect. The Koran is the word of god.

the word of God, intertwined with the hatred of man. rulers to be exact.

I think the word of the Prophet Mohammed got twisted by these rulers throughout the centuries.. For it is rulers who print and distribute the Quran, and they seem to have an interest putting people up against eachother. The same happened to the Torah and Bible, btw.. :(

I do respect all Prophets and scriptures, for there are many people who live peacefully by them.

Which is something you assume, without researching, because.. god knows why

Wrong. The Quran is the pure word of god uncorrupted by any man. Islam is perfect.

Please read about the manuscripts found in Sana'a:

I do hope you have some basic knowledge about how the Transition to paper went right.
If you are void of such knowledge, than yeah you would think that. And I hope you are aware of the many different Dialects at that time, and that Arabic was mostly a spoken language and rarely written. Its only when the Prophet came with first word of Allah, that there was a emphasis on Writing. So yeah small differences like that are bound to come forward, but if you know the history about the Quran, you should know that there was a committee, and that the result of that was something all the people agreed on and thus was the Final Version Like how the Prophet left it. Which is now referenced as the Uthmanic text.

So the present Quran is the result of a committee?
