I attended a lecture by a Islamic Scholar(not reputed) , and in that lecture, the role of Malaika was discussed, and Hazrat Izrafeel (A.S) was mentioned and that he will blow the 'soor' before judgement day and all that chronology.
Then the lecturer shared a 'waqya' with us.
The moment when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was going on the visit to the Heavens, the moment He (PBUH) was climbing the horse Burraq, he paused for just a second or so. Allah immediately ordered the angel Jibraeel(AS) to go and ask the Holy Prophet(PBUH) that what compelled him to stop while going to see Allah Almighty.
Prophey Muhammad (PBUH) replied, (the gist of the reply): I thought in that moment Allah has sent for me a horse to visit Him, but when my ummat will bear the burden of their sins and be going on their last walk for 30,000 years, on Judgment Day, who will carry their burdens?
To this Allah replied: (again, the gist of it): We will give a Burraq to the graves of all those people.
MashAllah.
