Amstrong says sorry.........for doping

Because there were not even definitive evidences, let alone solid proofs, of his use of banned substances. This is completely different from the sport's governing body who imposed suspicions upon every athletes and it is the athlete's burden to prove innocence. So yes, young pup, looks like critical thinking is a skill you clearly lack.

Nope you're wrong here. The doping problem in cycling goes allot deeper. For many MANY years its been an open secret that everyone who's anyone in the world of cycling has been doping. Its not just Armstrong. There's a comic floating around the net that if you take away the dopers then the guy who actually won the last Tour de France came in 23rd and this isn't far from the truth. Over the years many cyclists have come forward exposing this issue and how, despite knowledge, the governing bodies are not doing anything about it but they have always been shut up by the said governing bodies. The governing bodies have themselves been implicitly involved in this and have known all of this for many years and still allowed it. There was a cyclist who came forward around 7-8 years ago (cant remember his name) who held a press a conference and exposed everyone from Lance to his own coaches to the governing bodies and many other players. In the end he was banned and everything kept on going as it was before. And now Lance will be presented as the new guinea pig (even though deservedly) while others will keep on doping without consequence and the sport of cycling will remain a joke hidden behind a facade.
